Ready-made biogas production facility with expansion potential
Located in western Odesa region near the Moldovan border, the company is a complex for processing organic waste and silage into biogas for the production
of electrical and thermal energy. The main type of economic activity is 35.11 -- Electricity Production, for which a License for the right to conduct business activities for electricity production within the locations of electricity production business activities has been issued, approved by the Resolution of the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities "On issuing a license for electricity production to the Company" dated 07.08.2018 No. 831.
The enterprise is a producer of green energy and has been operating in the Unified Energy System of Ukraine since 2018. The raw materials for biogas production are corn silage and manure.
In April 2022, due to the full-scale invasion, operations were temporarily suspended. The facility is currently mothballed and requires €500,000 to restart production.
Key features:● Land plot: 20 hectares (lease valid until 2046)● Phase I (built, operational): 66 tons/day → 1.2 MW electricity● Phase II (planned): 195 tons/day → 4.8 MW total capacity● Technology: Jenbacher generator (17,000+ operating hours), modern waste-free biogas processing● By-products: solid & liquid biofertilizers, food-grade CO₂, biomethane, biomethanol● Strategic location: Near EU borders, Danube River, and Odesa Black Sea ports for export
Development opportunities for the new owner:● Restart operations and begin electricity and heat production immediately● Scale up to 4.8 MW capacity under the existing master plan● Diversify production into biomethane, biomethanol, and food-grade CO₂ for export● Leverage EU integration for green energy incentives, carbon credits, and REPowerEU funding
Competitive advantages:● Ready-made licensed facility — immediate operational potential● Cost efficiency: land, feedstock, and labor costs 30–50% lower than in Romania and Bulgaria● Abundant raw materials: local corn silage, manure, and crop residues● Export potential: strong demand for biomethane and CO₂ in EU markets● Energy security: contributes to Ukraine’s renewable energy independence
Mission: to transform organic waste into sustainable power and position Ukraine as a regional leader in green energy production.
